FIRST EDITION. 4to., rebound in half calf gilt over marbled boards with original spine laid on, marbled endpapers, t.e.g., [xii] + 145pp plus Appendix, illus with b/w plates, some foldout, plus foldout map. Previous owner has tipped-in a small engraving of High Wycombe to rear of plate facing pp32. Bookplate to front pastedown. A few small scuffs to corners and spine, small tape repair to pp97/98. Overall a Very Good copy.
