8vo., light brown buckram-bound hardback, with dark brown letters to upper cover and rounded outer corners; 42pp text with blank pages interspersed, followed by 38 foldout black and white plates (all present). Previous owners' ink names to front endpapers, extensive annotation in both ink and pencil to a few of the blank pages, reverse of some plates and rear endpapers. Light foxing, browning and a little soiling to edges and endpapers, front inner hinge pulled, slight handling wear and a little foxing to plates, light edgewear, rubbing and soiling to the boards, lettering a little faded. Good overall.
