Undated but c.1942. 8vo., red clothbound hardback gilt, with unclipped dust jacket; 491pp, indexed. One previous owner's modern bookplate to front pastedown and another's old ink name to corner of ffep. Light foxing to edges, spine of boards a little faded and foxed, dust jacket rather edgeworn, spine a little faded, large chips to corners and spine ends, a few short closed tears. Good overall in a Sound dust jacket.
