FIRST THUS 4to. decorated green cloth hardback, gilt. 382pp., illustrated with 24 b/w plates and many b/w vignettes within the text by Harry Clarke. Inscribed presentation bookmark (from the Academy of Dramatic Art, London, dated 1920) to front pastedown. Occasional light foxing, heavier to prelims and foredge. Front and rear inner hinges somewhat stretched, particularly front which is almost detached but held by webbing.. Slight fading and rubbing to spine. Tops of upper and lower boards also faded (please see photos). Light wear to top and base of spine. Overall a Sound Copy.
