FIRST EDITION 8vo. red cloth hardback, gilt. Red endpapers. 261pp. A clean copy with no previous owners' markings or inscriptions. Light foxing to prelims and a few faint handling marks to margins of text. Slight forward lean. Rear inner hinge stretched and weak. Cloth edges of spine beginning to split with wear to top, base and corners. Covers rather soiled. Overall a Poor Copy but possibly a good candidate for a rebind.
