Tall 8vo., (26cm x 18cm) brown clothbound hardbacks gilt with patterned spines and side borders; Vol I: [xxxii] +1-160pp, Vol II: 161-354pp,both Vols with 4 tissue-guarded colour plates plus numerous black and white text figures. Previous owner's modern bookplate to front pastedown of each volumes. Light foxing to endpapers, boards a little rubbed at corners and spine ends, small mark to Vol I rear cover. Both Vols VG overall.
