(approx. 28 x 19cm) hardback in full dark brown roan with raised bands, gilt to spine and decorative gilt to boards. a.e.g. xix, 271pp. plus full-page diagram at end and large colour folding map in pocket at rear. Text in two columns. Ink inscription from the Author to his father, dated 1889, to early blank. No other markings or inscriptions. Endpapers a little dusty else very bright and clean internally. Some rubbing to spine and board edges with slight loss to top layer of roan, particularly at the top of spine. Light soiling to upper board (please see photos). Overall a GOOD+ COPY.
