FIRST EDITION 4 small (approx. 9.4 x 6.7cm) pink cloth hardback volumes with brown titles to spine and oak leaf decoration to upper boards, all in dust jackets, within colour paper-covered slipcase. Each volume profusely illustrated charmingly in colour by the Author. A clean set with no previous owners' markings or inscriptions. Very slight fading to dust jacket spines, a few tiny chips to edges of the Pierre and Chicken Soup volumes and rather more to the remaining two, with some rubbing to spine of One Was Johnny (please see photos). Slight rubbing to corners of slipcase but overall a VERY GOOD SET in VERY GOOD SLIPCASE.
