Abridged from the 1949 original German edition. 8vo., black clothbound hardback; 216pp, with b/w frontis plus 8 other b/w plates. Previous owner's bookplate to front pastedown. Light foxing to edges, and to first and last few pages, rear board and top of spine rather damp affected, old label scar to front, edges a little rubbed, spine lettering dulled. A Good, Sound copy overall. No dust jacket.
