Pages unnumbered and printed one side only with handwritten story and colour illustrations by Ardizzone. A clean copy with no previous owners' markings or inscriptions. Board covers very slightly bowed. Edges of boards lightly worn with a few tiny chips. Dust jacket has some areas of loss (please see photos) along with a few closed tears, chips and some foxing/soiling. Overall a VERY GOOD COPY in GOOD DUST JACKET.
