Gallery of Modern British Artists: Engraved title page dated 1836, typographic title page dated 1834, 68pp. text plus 74 of 76 engraved plates (including title page and frontispiece). Crystal Palace: engraved frontispiece of the Crystal Palace, colour title page, typographic title page, iv Introduction with 2 engraved plates and 16pp. only of main text. A clean copy with no previous owners' markings or inscriptions. Some foxing throughout, occasionally heavy, but generally not affecting plates. Buckram boards faded and soiled, calf to boards and corners rather rubbed and worn, calf of spine a little scuffed but still quite handsome.
