Large 8vo., bound in blind-stamped dark blue cloth, with gilt lettering to upper cover, 82pp, illus with 11 coloured engravings from P H Gosset and E V Fellenberg, 4 woodcuts, plus foldout colour map. Pencil note to reverse of ffep, no other inscriptions or annotation. Front inner hinge split to about half way, frontis slightly detached at foot. Foxing and discoloration of pages to varying degrees throughout. Foldout map also discolored, with short closed tear to the fold at foot. Covers a little darkened, rubbed and scuffed. A Good, Sound copy overall.
